NAPPA LEATHER
Leather is a natural, distinctive material that requires careful maintenance. Each skin is unique and can vary in structure, colour, and texture, which is testament to its authenticity. The leather's natural fragility creates irregularities that are purposely preserved, so that each piece remains one-of-a-kind.
We recommend that you do not leave your leather exposed to the sun over an extended period, to avoid marks and premature wrinkling. Note that colour may transfer when in contact with clothing. Do not allow the leather to become wet, or expose it to humid conditions, before applying a water-repelling treatment. Use professional leather cleaning only.

FILT
This collaboration with the French manufacturer Filt is LEMAIRE’s tribute to more than a century of savoir-faire. Located in Normandy, Filt is the oldest maker of shopping nets, traditionally crafted in delicate nylon since 1860.
Reinterpreted to fit LEMAIRE’s vestiaire, these everyday, unisex accessories blend adaptability, style, and domestic comfort, and are available in different shapes, sizes, and colours. Models featuring leather ties and straps may have natural irregularities.
Patina Leather
LEMAIRE has cultivated a special connection with the art of patina. This savoir-faire is a meticulous craft learned by a handful of artisans. It involves precise gestures, specialised tools, and a series of steps to obtain a distinctive appearance reminiscent of time's patina on leather. Precision and subtlety are key.
Due to the nature of vegetable-tanned leather and its entirely handcrafted production, slight irregularities or natural marks may be visible. These are part of the authenticity of the material and craftsmanship, contributing to the unique character of each piece, whose finish may evolve with time. Colour may transfer when in contact with clothing. Please avoid direct contact with light-coloured surfaces and follow the care instructions.
Water-Repellent Nylon Canvas
This accessory is made of nylon canvas and treated with a water-repellent finish. The fabric can slightly vary in shade, a sign of its original dyeing process.
Water-repellent finishes are surface treatments that keep rain and showers out, but are not waterproof. Over time, the finish can become clogged with dirt, sunscreen, and oil from your skin, which makes it less effective. The resinated finish may evolve and whiten over time. Avoid long exposure to light, heat, and humidity.
Resinated Fabric
This fabric has a pigmented, water-repellent surface – a technical quality that offers protection from the elements. The crisp hand grants a vintage look, which may continue to bear traces of use, as the fabric’s character evolves with time.
Please avoid direct contact with light-coloured surfaces and follow the garment's care instructions. The resinated finish may evolve and whiten over time. Avoid long exposure to light, heat, and humidity.
